$NFLX earnings beat skyrocketed the stock by over 100 points—an impressive reaction despite lackluster dark pool activity before the call.

In yesterday’s notes, we mentioned that if 6K $SPX held, 6050 was the next target. Sure enough, it was, with yesterday’s highs reaching 6051.

The overnight pump, fueled by $NFLX earnings and breaking 6050 $SPX, was telegraphed.

For today, the spread players are back, adding significant gamma around the 6080 and 6020 strikes. Recently, this type of setup has resulted in one of two outcomes: either we break above or below these levels and leave them behind, or we range tightly between them.
