Here’s what’s on the radar for this week’s market events:
How on target were last weekend’s notes. Boy oh boy.
We called for continuation to the downside, and Elmo did not disappoint.
Everything went down with Liberation Day on Wednesday, April 2nd, and the sell-off accelerated so fast that we’re now less than 200 points away from Bear Market levels in the S&P 500.
Last Tuesday, we sent out another note saying we’d at least touch the 20-month moving average — and guess what? We sliced right through it.
Momentum is incredible to the downside, so Bear Market level at $SPX 4918 is not only inevitable — it’s coming fast.
CPI is the main event of the week, but honestly, who cares. Jerome has to cut in May anyways with this sell-off.
