Weekly market calendar: April 14-18, 2025
Hey traders,
Here’s what’s on the radar for this week’s market events:
After hitting last week’s target right off the bat—first with the Futures open implying $SPX spot below the bear market level (4918), and then with Monday’s session testing that level again—we got some good news on tariffs from Trump, and the market could finally breathe a little.
What’s next
So are we out of the woods? Is the bear market off the table already?
I wouldn’t bet my chips on that just yet.
There’s some upside momentum, sure—but I’m still watching for a rejection at the 20DMA or other clear signs of reversal back to the downside.
A single test of the bear market level isn’t enough to give me confidence to flip bullish and start looking for new ATHs.
